In African American community a feeling that tacit indifference is as bad as malice.

Important now to recognie that race and class continue to pay a part in many situations. Schools, jobs...When disaster strikes it tears away curtain from this.

Hard to explain Bush's lack of empathy for folks experiencing this disaster. Our government has to be more serious and somber about systemic problems, not just disastwrs.

4. Yeah, it was colorblind all right. The Bush Crime Family
holds poor white people in contempt every bit as much as it does poor African Americans.
