"New Attack Threatened for US" Photo LOOKS LIKE KKKARL ROVE! Egads
I swear, this looks like the fat little pig boy, doesn't it?

Blah blah blah, US, Australia attacks are threatened, blah blah, same crap as usual.

DUCK.

BOO!

Sept. 11, 2005 — In an apparent Sept. 11 communiqué broadcast on ABC News, an al Qaeda operative threatens new attacks against cities in the US and Australia.

"Yesterday, London and Madrid. Tomorrow, Los Angeles and Melbourne, God willing. At this time, don't count on us demonstrating restraint or compassion," the tape warns. "We are Muslims. We love peace, but peace on our terms, peace as laid down by Islam, not the so-called peace of occupiers and dictators."

etc.

A "terrorist", speaking in American English? No need for interpretation.

Honestly, if this is a desperate effort by Rove & co., it will blow up in their faces bigtime. Even if it's a valid threat, it doesn't help them at all, except for their dwindling base that would love him anyway.

Look, Bush relies on 9/11 to make it "appear" that he is a strong leader. Unfortunately, for him, Katrina just reinforces our beliefs that he is not, and blows holes in their credibility.

I personally think, and this is my opinion, that Bush & Co. know they are going down and they're trying whatever they think will work to solidify their "merits".

"merits" :sarcasm:

14. But nothing ever "blows up in their faces"...
that's the tragedy of this administration and of the idiotic American people. Talk about "getting away with murder". That's BushCo. for you. :grr:

17. I know. I'm kinda going out on a limb here.
I'm hoping, really hoping, that Americans can have just a little bit of common sense and recognize the pattern.

There's a percentage that won't move, that's known. Albeit, that percentage of support for the Bush admin. is steadlily shrinking.

I want to believe that most Americans think that a disaster is a disaster, regardless of it being natural or man made. I believe, and I expect, that they would expect a similar response to both.

Bush made his bed with touting the terrorism issue. Unfortunately, Mother Nature left him without an "enemy" to blame.

8. RE: Some quotes from the article...
Edited on Sun Sep-11-05 11:08 AM by nine23
"...there are no known, credible threats against the city and labeled the tape an instrument of al Qaeda propaganda."

Then why bother publishing it? Isn't it enough to be an instrument of AMERICAN propaganda?

"The statement was meant to instill fear, and fear is the most important weapon the terrorists possess."

Then I suppose they're thanking ABC at this very moment, as the network appears to have taken it upon themselves to "instill" the fear for them.

On edit: After reading some of the other responses in this thread, I must say I agree with some of you. This HAS to be Rove. It's simply too lame, weak and absurd to be otherwise...

11. Right on time- poll numbers go down- the terrorist threats appear.
It's so absurdly obvious it's almost funny. This one, is even better then the computerized image they sent of Osama the last time the numbers went down.

The face covering allows the psy-ops people so much freedom of choice for "convincing" villains.

They always remind me of those comical threats made by the "professional" wrestlers on tv to their adversaries.

big media outlets were all playing a tape like this one and running a text translation beneath it, or just leaving the sound off and letting the anchor summarize the guy's comments. When someone finally played the audio, the guy was speaking ENGLISH, and he sounded like a skateboarder from Burbank, California.

16. I agree with you guys
and it's quite "convenient" that we should hear about this today, on 9/11/05. Message? REMEMBER that we are in a war on terrorism. REMEMBER this is why we are in Iraq. REMEMBER that we are not safe yet and our fearless leader protects us (while taking away our freedoms). REMEMBER it's not about Katrina but about 9/11 and terrorism.

I'm pissed off at this nonsense. Keep the fear rolling. Keep the people scared. FASCISM AT ITS FINEST...

Duh. This administration needs a perpetual "boogeyman".

Me thinks their PsyOps just isn't cutting it anymore.

Just a hunch.
