I'm starting a "mood index" with regard to getting Bush out of the WH
I'm going to search on a set of key phrases (such as "impeach bush"), using a newsgroup search engine and a blog search engine, and determine the average number of hits to those phrases on a daily basis.

Today I set the baseline... next Sunday I will start reporting results and go from there.

If anyone has any ideas how I should set about doing this with greater accuracy, I'm open to them.

1. Good idea.
It might be useful to track another parameter as a self check on your accuracy, e.g., approval rating or something like that. I'm no statistical wonder, but it seems to me that this might be wise.

4. Isn't there a site or graph somewhere that tracks his approval?
I can't remember the link to this site offhand. Anybody?

5. There's a couple of sites which track the polls.
I don't go to them as they are not a high interest for me. Links appear fairly often here on DU, though. Maybe somebody can supply you with a link or two.

3. Check with Michael Moore. He had a color coded thingy going for a long
