add anything just let me know.
Here is what I posted:
Bush was asked for help. All the proper channels were followed. All the proper paperwork was filled in. As chief executive and commander in chief of our military he had not only the power, but the responsibility to coordinate and respond to this disaster the moment it became clear that the local governments were becoming overwhelmed. He failed in that, his most important duty. Examining previous federal responses to major catastrophe will make clear that the bush administration was at the minimum, 36 hours to slow in responding. At least hundreds, if not thousands, of lives were lost due to his failure and the failure of his appointed proxy(Brownie).
One last point I would like to make is that it is recorded fact that bush denied the Governor of LA the needed national guard because he wanted control of them himself. Which, as Archonix pointed out, is absolutely not how it is done. Not until enough political pressure was applied did he release the needed soldiers.
And that, my friends is only the tip of the Bush administration's iceberg of complicity in the deaths of thousands of my beloved countrymen. If you need further information, I suggest you visit Crooksandliars.com, dailykos.com, americablog.com, randirhodes.com and best of all democraticunderground.com. These sites have exhaustively documented and discussed all I have stated and more...
