KEEP KICKED!!! Today at 7:11pacific please send positive
thoughts, vibes, and prayers to the water in LA.
A national effort will take place to send positive thought to the polluted waters in NOLA. Please take a few minutes to meditate on the water. Imagine it being clean, clear, drinkable. Give thanks and respect to the water as well. If you cannot take part at this time then take time at sometime today. They are also requesting everyone do this at 3:00 your local time. Although the collective effort will take part at 7:11 pacific.

If we can keep up the positive thoughts all day long and have a collective effort then perhaps we will witness a miracle.

Go here for more info and to see the effects thoughts have on water.

Please keep kicked up.

1. Could We Wish For The Entire Bush Family To Dry Up And Blow Away Too ???
Positively, of course.

4. I went to church this morning which is a real feat for me..
and the minister was saying..."pray for whatever troubles you have and pray against the evil you see in the world." "Pray about it"...I think everyone in the church prayed that Bush would be held responsible for his inactions when he said that (positively of course). Afterwards we all were talking and almost everyone said Bush was the first thing that came into their head when he said the word evil.
I think I might have to go to church more often.

8. No...we shouldn't...bad karma.
But the Irish have a prayer perfect for the Bushes:

"May you meet yourself coming down the road."

2. Making sure I get this...
You're asking us to meditate to physically clean water?

Can we schedule a group to do the same thing at our house? I was thinking of getting a whole house water filter, but if enough people meditated and sent clean water thoughts, perhaps we wouldn't get this weird black buildup on our faucet.

I'm sorry, but man this seems a little freaky.

I will collectively send good thoughts to the people. I do believe in karma, to a small degree, but specifically the thoughts of people to clean water... I must confess I'm confused

But I do appreciate that you post this out of the kindness of your heart

7. Fair enough...
I'm off to check the link now...

I am very open minded about meditation... even if sometimes I'm still skeptical. You done good just by posting and initiating this here.

6. You just need to become a little more acquainted with the teachings
and practices of Native Americans and earth and universe conscious people from all over the world. There is more to life than salt and pepper. For now, just think of it as a different form of prayer.

9. If you want to understand how it works
read "The Magic of Believing" by Claude Bristol. It's all about harnessing the power between you, your subconscious, and the forces that connect between it all when summoned to do so. It really works, and you don't have to believe in any of the conventional organized religions to take advantage. It's got nothing to do with a supreme being.....just forces within in you and around you that actually are physically there.

13. That's the very first metaphysical book...
...I ever read! Back in 1985. It changed my life.

16. Same here. I first read it a long time ago
and it really changed me, too, forever. Now I'm trying to get my 20-something kids to read it, although they don't think they have to. Well I've got news for them....

15. I like that one--I'd also recommend books by Joseph Murphy
to anyone who enjoys Claude Bristol. I love them both.
"The Magic of Believing" is one of my favorites. In fact, thanks for the reminder--rereading it sounds like a great way to spend the rest of the day!

3. Now THAT is how prayer really works.
If we're smart we'll not only do this for the water in NOLA, but we'll do it at desgnated times to get Bush impeached. Prayer doesn't have to be "Godly" in order for it to work, either. It works because we call upon the forces which connect between our minds and our surroundings...and then good things happen.

10. Re: "Prayer doesn't have to be "Godly" in order to work"...
That's good to know, because I have never said I'll "pray" for someone. I always say I'll send good thoughts, best wishes, etc. I never say prayer because I'm not a Christian and I don't believe in prayer.

Like that thought. THanks (and a kick to this thread)

14. I read something once by...
...Stuart Wilde. An exercise to get rid of the annoying people in your life. You visualize them being really small, small enough to fit on the palm of your hand. Then you just blow them off. (So I guess that first post of wishing for a big wind...wasn't so far off!) You never wish anyone harm...but it's okay to wish them gone. To a place more suitable for them. Some place that would "work out very well for them" the way the Astrodome worked out so well for the underprivileged. One can only imagine what such a place would be like...
