The senate wants input on Katrina. Here is mine. Its for everyone but Sen.
Kennedy, who is a righteous man.

www.help.senate.gov

You want input. Here you go:

Don't allow any company who donated to the Republican Party to be contracted to help.

Fire the entire (mal)administration of the White House and impeach everyone from GWB to the dork at FEMA.

Get on your knees and beg your country's forgiveness because your asses are going out the door in 2006 and 2008. And they will NEVER be let back in. WELCOME TO IRRELEVENCE, you MURDERS!

Get out of Iraq so that those kids can help us here and the money can got to the people, instead of into the pockets of Dick(head) Cheney and his Dork Squad, aka the Republican Party.

Put the entire Republican leadership of the House and Senate in jail and throw away the key.

Nationalize oil.

Rebuild New Orleans and give the title of all property to the people who lived there before this TOTALLY PREVENTABLE HOLOCAUST the deeds free and clear.

Investigate all CRIMES, LIES, from 2000-right now.

Beg our forgiveness. Don't expect to get it until at least four generations go by.

Ask God for pity now because you will NEVER get it when you get there.

Pray there is no hell. There is. One is being built right now just for you.

Get on your knees and apologize to the world for all the insults you gave them, our greatest and dearest friends.

Help Britain imprison Tony Blair and his cartel.

Kiss my ass.

Kiss it again.

Go door to door and apologize to everyone south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Repeal the tax shit and the Patriot Act and everything else that has lined the pockets of the Evil, aka the Republican Party.

Every last one of you bastards put two or three of your own children, grandchildren into the military so that they can go to Iraq and fight the fucking war you so DEARLY love and believe in.

Leave the 9-11 families and date alone. You allowed them to die. Leave their bones alone. You have no shame.

Grow a conscience so that you can have some shame.

Hope you never have to have your plane diverted in bad weather to a southern city and they find out you are there.

Pray for our forgiveness. You will never get it.

Go fuck yourself.

Give all your money to the ASPCA, so that animals that aren't dead because of you will have a chance to live.

You murdered people. Then you made the injured people be forced to leave their BELOVED PETS behind to DIE! DIE! DIE! Pray to God that he forgives you because this nation NEVER WILL.

Tell the preachers who have perverted God's word to shut the fuck up.

Tell the preachers who applauded Katrina as "God's will against the bad people" that their tax exempt status is revoked.

Put Pat Robertson in prison. NOW!

Revoke the tax exempt status of every church except the ones who teach God's word. You can count them on one hand.

Put the following in jail with biker-perverts and throw away the key: Rush Limbaugh, Mike Savage, Mike Reagan, Michelle Malkin, Anne Coulter, all the idiots at Fox News, which should lose their license for broadcasting lies and propaganda, everyone from Cal Thomas to the idiots at the NYT who 'write' for your side. All of them. Everywhere.

Kiss my ass.

Go away to your pathetic, hypocritcal, two-faced, evil, mammon-driven, pedophilic, lying, stealing, godforsaken, half-assed, stupid, stupider, stupidest, cretinish, bloviating, chicken-hawking, idiot son, dimwitted, child molesting, four eyed, unAmerican, goose-stepping, anti-American, war-loving, too-chicken-by-half-to-actually-fight-a-war-but-love-the-money-so-much-you-would-steal-money-from-levee-repair and dead men's eyes, smug, self-righteous, 'know-it-all-but-do-nothing-because-you-are-two-evil, filth wrapped, murdering, blood-on-your-hands chicken shit do-as-I-say, not-as-I-do, phoney patriotic, don't give a damn and never will, facade-filled wretched consumer-driven, empathy-lacking little mutt lives. You bastards.

You know what you have to do. You will never do it. You never will and God will know. He's watching and he's writing the names of the righteous into the Book of Life. Your names will never be there because, of the things you have said and done, infants drowned in the arms of their families in the attics of their homes and you don't care. Your response?

Santorum: Punish the survivors.

Baker: God washed them out. PRAISE GOD!

DeLay: Isn't this fun?

Bush: "What went wrong?"

Barbara Bush, who has a special place in the hottest circle of hell waiting for her some day, the elitist swine: "SNICKER!"

You will NEVER do the right thing. God will remember it.

The best punishment you people could have is to arrive in the next life and face the long dead, much lamented and beloved people of New Orleans. I truly hope it is so.

8. My letter to the Senate.
My question is simple. What did the President know and when did he know it? The buck stops at the oval office and he has NO excuse for his negligence. Whatever the responsibilities of the state and local governments, nothing abnegates the responsibility of the President to protect the people .Censure is the very least that should befall this President. I also want to know why the top personnel involved with emergency management have NO prior experience with such events. Why were they approved for such positions? Shouldn't they have basic experience? Didn't ANYONE vet these people? And that goes for the position of Homeland Security as well. I propose that job descriptions be drawn up for these positions and no one who cannot meet the criteria be ever again considered for such important and specialized positions. I also want to know the status of preparedness of this nation for potential emergencies and attacks. If we are not up to speed, I want an accounting of all such funds dedicated to emergency protection, including acts of terrorism since 9-11 .I am a taxpayer, and this was MY money. I believe it to have been mismanaged and misspent. It surely did NOT go for the purpose it was intended , or there would be many more people surviving Katrina and many more citizens able to resume their lives.

10. It's even more fun reading it our aloud to someone else!
I've just read it out to my wife, with occasional mumbles, and it was great fun. You know, you're blood's up and you really get into the swing of it, and it's righteously inspired (if somewhat profanely expressed at times...!).

13. Wow, my input to the Senate Committee pales into insignificance, next to
this rant. I am in awe, roguevalley! I nominate you for president!

---------

For those who didn't see my post here earlier today...

Urgent! Senate committee wants Katrina input - deadline TODAY 9/11

The Senate H.E.L.P. Committee (Health, Education, Labor and Pensions) has been requesting input on Katrina reconstruction. The deadline was changed from Friday 9/9 to Monday, 9/12 (but presume 9/11, by the end of today) to allow more input. I don't know if DUers are aware of this. It's a great opportunity to help influence the treatment of survivors and the fate of the Gulf coast.

The email for public input is listed below. These emails are going to start being reviewed by committee staff tomorrow (Mon, 9/12). I heard about this on a CNN radio rebroadcast of the Senate H.E.L.P. Committee roundtable (of disaster experts) on 9/8, but could not get this posted until now.

Email: katrina_comments@help.senate.gov
Senate H.E.L.P. website: http://help.senate.gov /
(The ranking Democrat is Sen. Edward Kennedy.)

My input to the committee is at:

14. Here's mine, but yours is better. I had already done mine when
Edited on Sun Sep-11-05 08:51 PM by usnret88
I saw how it should have been written. Much more forcefully.

Have one of you staff google "fema fraud Florida" and look at the results. That will be just Florida. Even your own Senate Commission knew about FEMA fraud and yet it continues. Fire the first 3 levels of FEMA supervision at every office nationwide and start over. Fire Mike Brown and have him charged with multiple counts of negligent homicide. Fire the first three levels of Homeland Security in every office nationwide. We're not talking assigning them to another post - we're talking "clean your desk out and leave the building" firing. There are enough retired military members in this country who are still healthy and vigorous who will gladly help you if you ask them.

Cancel all no-bid contracts that have been awarded to clean up the Katrina mess, and then cancel all the rest of them worldwide. Any one who has ever seen the news on TV or read a paper knows that Halliburton is ripping off MY tax dollars, and I resent it.

Vote to cancel the executive order that allows contractors in the Katrina rebuilding arena to pay workers less than the prevailing wage. All this does is provide for increased profits to the contractors (see my note above re Halliburton rip off) by paying the workers penurious wages. I think you have to do this within 30 days or the executive order becomes law - so don't dawdle. We've had enough of that.

If MY tax dollars can be given, at the rate of $200,00 each, to Israelis who are being relocated then surely something more than $2,000 can be given to the Katrina "detainees." Get them away from camps where they are being guarded. Give any one of them who wants a pet to replace the one they had to leave at the doorway of the bus a new one. Give any of them who is eligible a tuition-paid scholarship to an upper level institution of learning. Educate all these people and they can work themselves out of the poverty in which many of them were trapped

Bring ALL of the Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi National Guard troops home immediately so they can work on rebuilding their homes and their lives. Then bring the rest of the troops home - enough of MY tax dollars have been poured down that rat hole and I resent it. Too many young men and women in the armed forces have mutilated, maimed, or killed and I really resent that.

Put a nationwide cap on fuel prices. Every time the price goes up, oil company profits go up - we all know that. That's why Exxon posted record profits last quarter. You knew that.

Put a manufacturing freeze on gas guzzling vehicles. This recent environment law that makes auto manufacturers improve gas mileage on cars a miniscule is a farce. We all also know that the SUV type vehicles are exempt because they are classified as trucks

Get rid of all the gas guzzlers that government employees ride around in and replace them with economical vehicles. And yes, that include senators and representatives at both the federal and state level. Washington preaches economy but fails to practice it.

Get those people with automatic weapons out of New Orleans. They have no business there. Louisiana is not some third world banana republic you must treat in such a disreputable manner - they are American citizens, poor maybe, but citizens.

Take a good look around you. The members of the House and the Senators up for reelection may well be replaced next year.
