Katrina no longer lead story....now, "Terra, Terra, Terra!"
On ABC nightly news....who woulda thunk it? Heh, heh, heh.

Someone with handkerchief over face is threatening the USA. Gosh that sounds familiar.

2. Not so much a distraction anymore
Think about it. Katrina burst the "We are protecting you" bubble. Now when they chuck up a terra shriek, people won't be quite so self-satisfied that George is in the driver's seat.

Sad but true.

7. Yep
Of course. We should've been expecting this. I think someone mentioned about terror lerts in the GD Politics section and where they were. Now George Bush has to be protrayed as a hero. *sigh* Who will run to him?

3. well If I was a terrorist I would be excited to know how inept we are
But if anyone thinks Katrina is going away anytime soon they should think again. An awful lot of people are really pissed and all the nagging doubts they've been having have become loud and insistent. Notice the influx of new posters this last week or so? Bush will be held responsible for any new messes and he doesn't get to wave the flag at us anymore and get away with it.

4. Propaganda...
and it PISSES ME OFF!

Something is awry. I remember that only two days before the last elections, what do you know, a videotape "surfaced" from Al Queda from a terrorist threatening to do in the U.S. The public bought it.

NOW COME ON! It's the anniversary of 9/11. They want to take the focus off their Katrina failure. They want folks to remember 9/11 and to believe we are fighting international terrorism over there (remember there were no terrorists there prior to the invasion). Their motto is that Bush will save us and protect us with his tough terrorism stance.

I think Michael Moore said something to the effect that the elite is actually waging war against the people of this country (paraphrased - not exact wording). Not war with bombs, but with words, PsyOps, and fearmongering to effect a certain thought pattern and behavior.

This pisses me off to no end, and folks have to wake up and smell the propaganda. FASCISM - it's here and it's only going to get worse if the people don't peacefully rise up and bombard our congressmen with calls EVRY DAY demanding Bush's impeachment.

8. I know how you feel
And in the long run I feel so helpless. And that video before the election wasn't Al-Quida. Totally different person unless BinLaden all of a sudden got very brown (almost black) and gained weight and cut his beard (which I doubt on the beard). I remember feeling very weird vibes with that tape. That something was very off.

13. Yeah! Yeah! That's the guy!
He had a way cool BLACK turban this time -- same glasses though.

Strictly B-movie script, I laughed through the whole thing. It was like, "Come ON! Do you REALLY expect us to fall for this shit?"
