As we learned today, Bush always observes a moment of silence on September 11:
Bush began the day in recognition of the fourth anniversary of the other tragedy that has marked his presidency — the Sept. 11 attacks. As he has every year since 2001, the president observed a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. EDT, the exact minute when hijackers smashed the first passenger jet into the World Trade Center.

Well, that's nice of him. Too bad nobody can prove it.

At least there precedence for his moment of silence! Let's try to catalog them all, shall we?

Let's see...

There's his silence on the actual motives of the Iraq War.

There was also that moment of silence while New Orleans drowned.

I seem to remember his silence about where he was during his "lost weekend" in the Air National Guard.

What else?

3. Well, he also observed..
three days of silence when the people of New Orleans and Mississippi were screaming for help.

Not really silent, he was strumming a gee-tar.

There is a special place in hell for this scumbag.

and then again while he flew all over the damned sky while people were falling and jumping out of the WTC windows.

Another classic...when asked if he could think of any mistakes he had made during his time as president. " s i l e n c e "
