Who will switch over to the Democratic Party. Once they had stood out in the poison and infectious waters for three days, they decided that Bush and the Repubs were not coming. They were less disappointed than angry. They had lost everything and their Party let them down. Many depended on neighbors and Good Samaritans with boats. Otherwise, they might still be standing in the waters...They had put all their eggs in the wrong basket. Now they see. The Republican Party is not very good at governing. In fact, they are best at anti-governing. They do best as a minority Party that keeps the Democrats from going to leftist extremes. But, the people really messed up by putting them in the majority. They will remember all this in 2006. We can only hope for Custer at Little Bighorn analogies.

They are hindering any progress in this Nation. Think how much more Clinton could have achieved if not for the insane republican Congress.

These people need to go down and go down hard. But I don't see them losing much power because all the big $$$$$$ corporations fund them and their propaganda machine.

It is my only hope that the American People are not as stupid as they have appeared for the past 25 years. This all started with Reagan and the war on the poor.

I hope the People are wise enough to recognize the republicns only serve the big, big $$$$$$$, the "haves and have-mores."

It's either that or another reviolution is inevitable.

...who may not all vote, but they sure spread their rancid odor on everything they come close to. Jeez that's only one one thousandths of a percent of republicans crossing over. Doesn't KKKarl Rove think that even a 5% loss to crossovers still won't hurt the party's chances at another election victory next years. That would be some 3,600,000 crossovers and BushCo fascists could still keep most of their seats.

Plus, based on the body bags, the democrats have suffered an equal loss in voters. Then the feds have succeeded in displacing perhaps a quarter of a million democratic voters LA, MI and AL around the country in mostly democratic voting districts where their votes will be neutralized.

so I trust what you say. Hallelujah. They deserve to lose at least 10,000 Republicans, and maybe the rest of them were Democrats already.

I attended an "anti-media coverup of 9/11" protest today. Not all attendees were New Yorkers. I met people from Vermont, California, and Ithaca (fairly far from NYC).

This morning, 1010 WINS radio said that 57% of Americans believe that the federal government cannot or will not protect them in the case of terrorism or nuclear disaster.

That fits right in with what you said. :)

The radio also said that 73% of Americans believe that the president can influence oil and gas prices. They are not happy.
