Researchers say human brain is still evolving

Two genes involved in determining the size of the human brain have undergone substantial evolution in the last 60,000 years, researchers say, suggesting that the brain is still undergoing rapid evolution.

The discovery adds further weight to the view that human evolution is still a work in progress, since previous instances of recent genetic change have come to light in genes that defend against disease and confer the ability to digest milk in adulthood.

Conservatives once again left behind as humans continue to evolve. The intellgent designer is not returning their calls.

7. And I thought they were popular because . . .

The books seem to give Republicans license to completely fuck things up beyond all repair, then God miracles their sorry asses out of things, and puts everything (eventually) right, whilst handing out a heaping helping of Divine Justice to the poor and the ones who guessed wrong about the Celestial God Combination.

It gives them every right to create Hell on earth while absolving them of all responsibility and accountability for the mess they've made, and someone else cleans it all up by magic.
