How many tens of thousands of dollars per hour does it take to ferry the Chimp King around in AF1? How much money will we pay the photographers and propagandists, the troops charged with protecting him? The advance teams, the security details? What neighborhoods will have to stop all reconstruction/recovery efforts because Bush SS detail is securing the attics in case some guy, not quite dead yet, awakens to the sound of Bush praising himself and goes balistic?

In short, how much HELP could be bought with the money spent on all this wasteful showboating by The Negligent Dolt?

2. According to a Washington Post article
in 2000 the GAO estimated the cost of flying Air Force One at $54,100.00 per hour.

Look toward bottom of article.

3. You are right!
It's starting to be expensive and starting to look silly for Bush to jump on Air Force 1 and Marine 1 every other day to go find out what he could find out on a phone!!

4. Is this the reason for the large presence of authority there lately?

So Bush can finally have his photo-op in the city?

6. Why doesn't he just STAY there awhile?
I'm sure his minions could find him a nice safe place to hang out in NO instead of commuting back and forth for photo-ops.

Alternately, they could take some current film of New Orleans and run it as background in his little White House PR studio so he could pretend to be in NO. Maybe even bring some NO evacuees over from the DC Armory as props. :sarcasm:
