1. You know the flaw in that Republican theory?

First, the only clean areas to fish are on Federal lands and that takes a hike to get to. The closer areas are either on private land, or are polluted public areas. i.e. People fish in the retention ponds where dogs poop around.

Second, let's be real. A person needs a college education to get anywhere. So, although a fishing rod may be nothing more than a stick, string and hook, the reality is that the better quality equipment gets better results. So, teach him how to fish, by all means, but don't forget to help subsidize his $40,000 education.

2. Repukes don't have theories...

they have faith-based beliefs. That way, they don't have to worry about facts.

Anyway - fishin' in the newly-created federal waterways in NOLA will be just fine for those people. After all, they are all underpriviledged anyway and having a good rod 'n reel like Evil Dad and Dimson will make it seem like Christmas to them.
