That thought just struck me a moment ago when Thom Hartmann was talking about the visits by various members of Team BushCo. I just had this image of them flying and driving around, going into the shelters, etc. and looking at all the people who have been so horrendously devastated by the slow response to Katrina. These people are so far removed from the reality of so many people's lives they have absolutely no concept of that reality. I think they look at these people and think, "Oh, lookey over there -- it looks like a 'Poorious Dark-a-People-ious'! And over there, a 'White-a-saurus Cracker-ous.'" I do not think that BushCo actually sees them as HUMAN BEINGS.
