Bush should have fired him publicly.

Stooooopid president.

15. Yep, that's the way I see it
bush can't admit he made a mistake so they had Brown resign instead of be fired. Doesn't look good on bush when you look at the level of failure that was involved. This is just one more screw up by this admin.

11. Did he step down or was he pushed?
Did he come to the realization on his own that he would be a lame duck, forever with a cloud of suspicion over his head?

Or was he sacrificed to the great god of Bu$h infallibility?

In other words, was the administration really backing him?

19. I'm sure Allbaugh has a cushy job waiting for him
After all, Brownie ran back to D.C. awfully quick to make certain Allbaugh won the contracts for rebuilding.

He must have figured his work was done as soon as the ink dried on the last contract.

27. Bush requests prayer for Michael Brown, Sept. 1, 2005

http://www.presidentialprayerteam.org/?id=1005

PRESIDENTIAL PRAYER REQUESTS - Sept. 1, 2005

ADDITIONAL LEADERS TO
PRAY FOR THIS WEEK

The following cabinet members are working closely with President Bush
and have deployed full resources in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
Pray for the smooth coordination of their efforts.

Secretary of Energy -
Samuel Bodman

Secretary of Homeland Security -
Michael Chertoff

Director of FEMA -
Michael D. Brown

Another response came from Becky Brown, sister of FEMA director
Michael Brown, who wrote, "Please pray for all the victims but also
pray for all the workers in the relief process."

PRESIDENT BUSH DECLARES NEXT FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 AS DAY OF PRAYER

http://www.presidentialprayerteam.org/

PRESIDENTIAL PRAYER
REQUESTS FOR
September 8, 2005

The Presidential Prayer Team continues to promote prayer for our
troops, even though the nation is focused on the crises created by
Hurricane Katrina. Our troops continue to labor in harm's way, and
their need for prayer has not diminished.

To adopt a troop in prayer, click HERE.
http://www.presidentialprayerteam.org/troopsadopt.php

I last heard from Tim on Wednesday, August 31. He asked his sister to
thank everyone for their prayers. His group was in a small skirmish
and he's sure that because of prayer none were injured.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president
represents, more and more closely, the inner soul
of the people. On some great and glorious day the
plain folks of the land will reach their heart's
desire at last and the White House will be adorned
by a downright moron." --- H.L. Mencken (1880 - 1956)
