1. Appose the war

Would you prefer the Democratic nominee for president to be someone who
would denounce the junta! And call for a restoration of democracy in the USA.

because we here are the hardcore Democrats. ;-)

Seriously though, I knew this site wasn't representative of national Democrats because of the large numbers of people here who support DK.

7. A friend and I were talking about which Dem candidates we like,
and my friend said, "I don't want anyone in the party who supports war." I need to think about that one, but in principle, I agree.

8. Semantics
When you consider how badly the WH distorted the 'evidence' in order to garner support for the war, 'support' becomes nothing more than a literal definition; some/all who 'supported' the war would NOT have done so, IMO, had they been told the TRUTH.

10. I agree. I think that's why you see 41% for "doesn't matter"

which is not really what people probably meant, but was the best option they had if that they believed that war is justifiable or necessary under certain circumstances, but that they were lied to about the circumstances in this particular case.

11. Did anyone see Lieberman on Tony Snow this morning?
Sorry, I don't have cable and had to watch it. Anyway, he was on faux, supporting his decision to support the war and still saying that the war was a good idea. He was just slightly critical of the pre war intelligence. To think, I use to have respect for him.
