1. Course I'll watch but what is so hot about the 'creationism issue'?

The only reason that it's 'hot' is that we are stupid enough to not throw this bulls*** right out the window the moment it comes to attention.

It's a non-issue. The only issue is the blaring questions 'why the hell is this crap flying in this country?'

2. It's a bigger issue than creationism

When schools are throwing out the scientific method to make room for intelligent design, it raises serious questions about what kind of doctors and scientists these students will become.

The religious right's influence on government policy is compelling many scientists to leave government agencies because their recommendations regarding stem cell research, reproduction rights and other issues are overturned or simply ignored. More scientists and researchers are leaving because of corporate pressure to disavow global warming.

Thanks to the repression of big religion and big business, this country is experiencing a brain drain, the likes of which impacted Germany and Russia in the last century. Just another step we're taking towards becoming a third world nation.

I am well aware of the repurcussions. I am just in awe of why the hell this crap isn't slapped down the moment it brings it's head to bare as it should be.
