I feel so much safer with David Paulison at FEMA - Duct Tape Man!!
Boy, could we ever be more safe now that the guy who recommended we stock up on duct tape to avoid terrorist attacks is the head of FEMA?

"Factories in North Carolina and Kentucky shifted into high gear Wednesday to try to meet the sudden demand spike after U.S. Fire Administrator David Paulison's statements earlier this week that Americans should buy duct tape and plastic sheeting to be prepared to protect themselves and their homes in the event of a biological, chemical or radiological attack."

2. Well, from what we know, at least this is not part of a "padded" resume.
And we're all remembered by "the last great thing we did", are we not?

Back in '03, I remember talking to friends up here in Canada, saying, in all seriousness: "Fuck pot. Let's smuggle duct tape across the border. Same profit margins, much less risk of serious jail time..."

This guy could've made me a rich man, but alas...I was already working.

3. Actually, duct tape is one of two products any home shouldn't be without.
The second is WD-40.

If it moves and it's not supposed to, use the duct tape. If it doesn't move and it's suppose to, use the WD-40.

:hi:

4. Yes, duct tape, and in Nola, they should have had a little Dutch Boy
to plug the dikes with his finger in case they leaked, or the duct tape failed.

5. Hey. I'm a grip in the film industry.
Guess what's ALWAYS hanging proudly off my tool belt? Duct tape. In fact, I don't even NEED a tool belt, just a hook for the duct tape.

They shouldn't even have called my film school grip programme "Grip School". "Duct Tape School" is more accurate...
