BAD NEWS to BUSH is Not the Deaths, Destruction & Danger in NOLA >>>
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 08:37 PM by Stephanie

The staff is afraid to break the BAD NEWS to Bush.

The BAD NEWS is that HIS VACATION IS ENDING EARLY.

The man is a MONSTER.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9287434

Sept. 19, 2005 issue - It's a standing joke among the president's top aides: who gets to deliver the bad news? Warm and hearty in public, Bush can be cold and snappish in private, and aides sometimes cringe before the displeasure of the president of the United States, or, as he is known in West Wing jargon, POTUS. The bad news on this early morning, Tuesday, Aug. 30, some 24 hours after Hurricane Katrina had ripped through New Orleans, was that the president would have to cut short his five-week vacation by a couple of days and return to Washington. The president's chief of staff, Andrew Card; his deputy chief of staff, Joe Hagin; his counselor, Dan Bartlett, and his spokesman, Scott McClellan, held a conference call to discuss the question of the president's early return and the delicate task of telling him. Hagin, it was decided, as senior aide on the ground, would do the deed.

But all in all, it's been a fabulous day - for Laura and me.

1. And on top of all that, patients, even those on tight chemo schedules for
cancer treatment had medical appointments canceled on the Navy base in San Diego so the bumbling fool could do a photo op with some staff at the hospital.

Nice, eh?

5. When was this? Today?
Remember when they said Clinton got a haircut on the runway at LAX? This prick has held up evacuations at the airport, deliveries to the Superdome, rescues, everything, by forcing everything to grind to a halt for his photo-ops.

14. No, on the day he was in San Diego (fund raiser Aug 30?) while NOLA
residents were dying of dehydration. They cancelled ALL medical appointments at the base hospital. It was reported that the resources are so tight that people will wait weeks for new appointments.

And those on meticulously rigid schedules for chemo? Tough noogies.

Found story on Rawstory the other evening. It sorta got missed in all the bigger stories. Here ya go Steph:
http://rawstory.com/news/2005/San_Diego_hospital_closed_to_acommodate_Bush_visit_No_ch_0906.html

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 30 -- The Naval Medical Center in San Diego's Balboa Park was shut down to accommodate a visit by President George W. Bush Aug. 30, RAW STORY has learned, forcing patients to cancel chemotherapy treatments and hundreds of scheduled patient visits.

"The pharmacy is closed. The emergency room is closed. Even chemotherapy patients will not be allowed on base," the daughter of one patient told RAW STORY shortly before the President's arrival. "My mother is a patient...She was contacted and told that her appointment had been canceled and would be rescheduled later…All civilian personnel and patients will not be allowed on base."

Hundreds of patient visits were cancelled as a result, she said. Patients and staff at the Naval Medical Center voiced concern over the shut-down of non-critical patient care services for a photo op that never even materialized. None were willing to go on record by name for fear of retaliation, such as loss of jobs or revocation of healthcare privileges.

"I think it's disgusting. People who are getting chemotherapy or radiation are on a very set schedule. They are not supposed to miss a session or put it off by even a day, because it's based on the life cycle of a cancer cell," the volunteer said, adding that some patients had waited weeks for appointments. "Some had to postpone for quite a while, because the radiation and chemo rooms were full on other days," she added. "They closed everything down just so he could have his photo op in the lobby with the corpsmen."

Go read it. Just more proof that people are just chattle to BUSHCO

Here are pix from that day, Tuesday as the flood waters were rising, when he gave the speech on the Navy ship.

20. Knew that little tidbit would blow your mind
He is a shallow, souless vampire. Cheney too. They really do not value the lives of anyone but their Haves & Have Mores base. There is NOTHING they are not capable of, having such disregard of others.

3. Sociopath the Chimp and his Stepford Clone are just pathetic
And so is crashcart and that lavender dragon he calls his "wife."

Even Momma Bush, who a lot of older ladies looked up to when she was first lady, is a shitty, classless, heartless wizened old knarl. I have seen rock outcroppings that are warmer than that woman.

4. Reccomended. That asshole is such a douchebag
It makes me sick. And that article really nails it.

"I've got slightly bad news and really bad news, Mr. President"

"Gimme the slightly bad news first"

"Thousands of Americans might be dead in New Orleans, and thousands more are stranded and dying"

"And the really bad news?"

"You'll have to cut your vacation short"

6. I'd like to be the one to tell him
...NO MORE VACATIONS, GEORGE!

Look what happened when he took a month long vacation and he wasn't even in office for six months? Planes crashing into buildings. 3000 people dead.

Now he takes ANOTHER month-long vacation and he's only been in office 5 years (most people are lucky to get three WEEKS at 5 years). And what happened now?

That man doesn't get any more vacations.

12. Well, to be fair, he took one each year
and nothing happened in 2002, 2003, or 2004.

However, he still hasn't caught Osama, and for some reason he has decided to take a month vacation in 2002 despite being in the "war on terror", and took vacations in 2003, 2003, and 2005 even though we were at war with Iraq and still fighting the War on Terror.

This guy is such an asshat that he declares two wars that he drags us into at the same time, spends a third of his time on vacation, and can't even be pulled from fundraising to help Americans after the worst natural disaster in US history took place.

16. I think he took the subsequent ones after 2001 as a cover
The 2001 vacation was to get him out of harm's way because they knew a terrorist attack was coming. Rather than protect the country, BushCO protected themselves by moving to Crawford. Cheney spent the month in Wyoming. Ashcroft began flying only private jets.

I think the subsequent month long vacations are partially a cover-up, to make the first one look less unusual.

9. He won't retire to the "ranch" -- it's just for show.
That isn't where he will go to live once he is no longer occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. He will have some place with land, but not any place with animals. After all, he is a gentleman farmer, not a ranch hand.

Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 08:26 PM by ...of J.Temperance
I hate this pig fucker...why can't he just piss off and go and live in the jungles of Outer Borneo or something. I'm sick of seeing him, he makes me feel physically ill.

Picture # 3, the Dueling Banjos one, shows by his facial expression that this bastard is DEFINATELY mentally ill and borderline retarded.

Picture # 5, the face of Satan one, shows that by his facial expression that this bastard is DEFINATELY evil personified...oh and look at his little yellow corn teeth. What a freak!

He's on the loose and he's dangerous. Quick, grab him, put him in a straight-jacket...the padded cell in the booby hatch is awaiting him.
