Looking for DC News coverage of Poetry

Hi!  A great Democratic lady who is 90 years old in our small
town in Iowa has started writing poetry in the last 10 years
and won the privilege of reading her poem in DC at an
International Poetry event on August 14. (She couldn't go but
paid to have someone read her poem) She wanted to get a
newspaper article featuring news about this event and
contacted Senator Harkin but he did not get one for her.  Do
any of you save your newspapers and could you look in issues
soon after the 14th and see if there is anything about the
Poetry event?  Thank you!

...the international library of poetry or some such. There's some such org out there that is a scam. Little old ladies and everyone else beware.

I've read several accounts that they are always soliciting money but that they don't deliver or something. Anyway, just a heads up.
