Where were Mike Malloy and Randi Rhodes today?

Seems like we have the second stringers. This guy replacing Mike Malloy had a guy on who was criticizing Blanco for allegedly not allowing supplies to be sent to the Superdome and not letting the feds take over. Absolutely crazy stuff, but Mike Malloy's replacements thanked him and said that those were things that should be discussed. Has there been some sort of coup at Air America Radio or are Malloy and Rhodes on vacation at the same time? What is going on? Is mischief afoot? Has anyone else noticed? I think the guy on Mike Malloy's slot is considerably more conservative than I would like. What is more he is planning to have Jesse Ventura on tomorrow. Jesse Ventura is no Democrat, no liberal, no progressive. Personally, I don't want to hear from Ventura. Is it just me? Or is anyone else wondering what is going on?

..Which is not at all a bad reason to be on the radio. I wouldn't give him Malloy's time slot, but they could give him Franken's for all I care.

BTW, the veteran issues is why Ventura will be on the show. He and Reikhoff have a website (can't remember the name) encouraging vets to speak out against the Chimp and his dumb assed war. And I don't see any harm in that. Certainly no worse than a DLC stooge giving daily airtime to a Limbaugh groupie, right?

Mike was great - but having Best of shows right now when the news of Katrina and *'s admin failures sucks big time!

On a drive time show Air America needs to get professional and make sure good sub hosts are lined up. They have enough people that someone different could do a double shift each day.

Sorry but this is nuts.

If I had the talent and had a national show they'd have to drag me kicking and screaming out of the studio at this particular moment in history!

8. Randi will be gone all week. Mike will be off tomorrow.

Mike will have a guy from Operation Truth and another guy from the Guerilla News Network (GNN) co-hosting his show tomorrow when he is speaking at some Dem. event.

Randi is out all week. I think Tuesday/Thursday might be "Best-of" (rerun) shows. Laura Flanders will be hosting on Wednesday/Friday to provide some live and current discussion.

She should be back next Monday.
