1. Conservatives don't believe that "Activist Judge" crap... |
|
Not in the way they have tried to frame the whole catch phrase talking point anyway. They WAND activist judges. But those who will execute the innocent, arrest abortion doctors, remove environmental laws etc.
Who in the fuck did the conservatives (Bush)turn to when Bush flew into DC off vacation to sign the "get in bed with Schiavo bill" to hand the case to a what they thought was a conservative activist judge?

They don't want "activist judges" unless they over-rule a state supreme court (outside of their jurisdiction) and decide an election.
They don't want "activist judges" unless it means keeping a brain-dead woman whose husband has proven beyond doubt her dire circumstances purely for their own partisan agenda.
They don't want "activist judges" unless it means forcing school districts to teach about the invisible cloud being or forcing public facilities to be used for religious purposes...even if it excludes a majority of the community.
The don't want "activist judges" unless it means THEIR definition of freedom...be it speech, civil rights, sexual rights and so on...then it's imperitive that said judges all but ignore due process.
Yep...they object to "activist judges"...when they can't own and control them.
