Freeper Thud on Hurricane Katrina Blame Game |

I've used this argument a couple times on Freepazoid Bush Apologists concerning Bush's utter mishandling of Hurricane Katrina.
All you have to do is look at Hurricane Katrina as an enemy force about to attack one of our major ports and sources for food, oil and other trade.
Imagine a Commander-In-Chief in the past seeing what are obvious clues and evidence of an attack on one of the most sensitive targets of his country and have him blithly continue with his vacation? Imagine that "leader" declaring it a state of emergency and then continuing to stay away from the battle while his Vice-Commander looks for a mansion from proceeds he's received from war profiteering?
Imagine George Washington seeing maps and proof of a large amassing enemy force about to attack some of his armies' major provisions and decide to kick back and go to a fundraiser?
Washington would not have made it out alive without some rope firmly tied around his neck. And then he would be drawn and quartered before having his remains fed to the dogs.

But we're talking about right-wing revisionism here: The Founding Fathers -- in spite of having existed before both the Great Awakening and the Robber Baron era -- are portrayed as being their mirror images in Jesusland.
