Poll question: Will W resign?
A simple yes or no will suffice.

I will wait for further response before offering my own opinion on the issue.

2. You beat me to it.
He's have to have some shame and human decency to resign. He never will.

6. I don't think shame will enter into it
but possibly the fear of impeachment, just like Nixon.

Repugs aren't doing well in polls, y'know.

I'm not smoking but am actually sipping a nice sauvignon blanc. Would you care for a glass?

10. NO. Absolutely Not. The very idea is absurd.
The Chimp, unless he dies, will be smirking from the White House until 2009. He isn't going anywhere.

13. But note how many threads are hinting at it. I agree, it's absurd,
but what's more absurd is that people seem to think it's not only a slim possibility, they think it really will happen.

18. Its not possible because unlike with Watergate
both houses are controlled by Republicans and unlike with Watergate only a handful of them are the kind of Republicans (moderate) that were in Congress during that time. Which Republicans are going to start impeachment hearings? That's what I'd like to know. None of them have the guts to.

20. Resign? While some tatters of responsible government remain in place?
Not a chance. They still have to fuck up Social Security and the tax code and invade Iran and Syria. And Justice Stevens probably won't survive this administration, either, so there's definitely more Supreme stacking to be done. Got to get rid of worker protections, the EPA and the goofy notion that the states are required to adhere to the Bill of Rights, after all.

Obstruction of Justice, and Treason.

And since he's always been a chickens**t (in reality), he's lookin' for the way out... At 38% - down from 93% - he's had enough. He can't stand any dissidance. Plus, being POTUS is hard work... ** just hates workin' and never really worked... He's only in it for the money, the booze, Golf, Party, and... VACATIONS!!

For real: the idiot's got enough of all that Jazz.

Guess it's only moi, but I like it, like it, yes I do! ;)

Edit: *Perjury* removed... (wasn't interviewed under Oath)

39. He will resign as soon as
rove tells him to resign! (So we will just have to settle for an old fashioned impeachment). The real powers that be are making a killing off of their puppet, likely he yet has some use for those bastards. He will be abandoned when those needs have been filled. They will then have as much compassion for him as they do everything else, (environment, Democracy, human rights and etc.) We may get our impeachment then. I predict he will end his days as president alone and bitter, regardless of impeachment. It is my hope that we can net a few more of the puppeteers along the way.
