Time for Boxer to use her parlimentary tools

Remember some weeks or so ago when Barbara Boxer said if the Bush Crime Team wouldn't hand over all of the documents that Senators were requesting about John Roberts, then she would use the parlimentary tools she's been given as a U.S. Senator?

Well, I think that time has come.

It's obvious that the Roberts nomination is going to be reported out of committee on a party-line vote. And when it goes to the full floor of the Senate, Sen. Boxer needs to use those parlimentary tools.

It's clear that Roberts plans to continue to be evasive in his answers. Hell---I don't think he plans to really give any answers at all.

So that, combined wit the failure to hand over requested papers, means its time for the parlimentary tool (read: filibuster).

A single senator can place a "hold" on a nomination.

Hillary Clinton did that with the EPA Administrator.

I was thinking Boxer was going for the jugular right off.
