ever resovled? Was there any evidence brought forward? I don't recall any resolution to that thread.
The last I knew was that the FAA had no reported incidences.
Did any new info come about?
It seems some of those threads became a bit inflammatory, so I should be clear that I'm not trying to start the whole debate again, just wondering if it was resolved.

1. I got it second hand that some people trying to get the hell out |
|
of there got pissed because they kept being "overlooked" by the "rescuers" who allegedly said that they would come back for them but didn't. My friend volunteering at the Astrodome said a woman there told her this. I don't know? But that was the most plausible explanation I have heard so far...when people are forced into survival mode, they can get kind of primal. Personally, I think that I'd get primal to if I were being left to die.

2. Thanks. I just thought it was odd that they never interviewed any |
|
pilots, nurses, showed photos of the bullet holes, etc. Seems that would be right up their alley.

3. as far as I've been able to find out... |
|
... the FAA did not receive any reports of aircraft coming under fire.
So I suppose we'll have to class this one as unsubstantiated, period.

6. It really plays well with the looting and welfare scumbag stories |
|
It may have been one incident, but has been played up to make all the survivors look bad. I heard a couple of old republicans talking about it yesterday. No facts of course just that "they" were shooting at the rescuers.

|
I don't have a link since I didn't have electricity at the time ,but it was reported on the local radio (WWL) a few days ago.
