How many times should the President be allowed to make a mistake?
Strike 1 - "Bin Laden determined to strike US"
Bush reply - :boring:

Strike 2 - 9/11
Bush reply -

Strike 3 - "Iraq has WMD"
Bush reply - :nuke:

Uh oh. Bush should be OUT! But, as usual, Bush does illegal things, so he gets to keep playing.

Strike 4 - Bush says: "I'm not connected to the Swift Vets!"
In truth - :pals:

Strike 5 - The Warning that Hurricane Katrina will strike
Bush reply -

2. Here's the problem with your premise...those only count against....
...legally elected presidents, not dictators.

3. Further correction...
Mistakes are only counted against democrats.

Republicans are above all that "take responsibility" nonsense :sarcasm:

4. It is not the making of a mistake, but how you deal with it
Every president made many mistakes. In my lifetime, we have had bay of pigs, watergate, monica, Most of george Bush the first, and other doozies. Every president will continue to make mistakes.

In most cases, the presidents own up (maybe not in so many words) and correct them.

That has been impossible when the only mistake the guy made was a baseball trade. After a time, the mistakes begin to beget others, and they begin to grow upon one another.

Obviously George and Barbara made a doozie, considering neil and jeb. and see what has happened?

5. The number of mistakes does not really matter
It is the magnitude that matters and Shrubs mistakes are huge.

9. I didn't think he made mistakes
Didn't I hear him say he couldn't think of a single one during the debate last year?

Gee, don't pick on George. He's not quite right, you know.

10. The first time someone dies as a result of a Presidential mistake
the President should be impeached, imo.

Therefore, in my world, Bush would have been gone in 2001.
