US colonel says bin Laden ill

Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is in poor health and is seeking medical attention, the London-based Arabic newspaper al-Hayat said, quoting a US officer in Afghanistan.

"Osama bin Laden is trying to obtain medical attention," Colonel Don McGraw, director of operations at the Combined Forces Command in Kabul, told a group of British reporters, including one from al-Hayat, it said.

"He (McGraw) refused to say what the Qaeda leader is suffering from or whether it is the same kidney disease which Pakistani officials said in the past he was suffering from," the newspaper added.

4. I know this makes me sound like a cuckoo-brained looney...

...but I think Osama has been dead since 2001, and the Osamas we've seen on video tape since then have been lookalikes hired by U.S. blackops to keep the myth alive. Ever notice how Osama seems to change in appearance drastically with each new video? I just don't see how he can realistically still be alive and kicking, since it seemed a given he was near death even before 9/11.

They'll keep him "alive" for as long as it suits they're goals. You know the far-fetched conspiracy theory that Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced by the British crown to keep the Beatles going? It's the same thing here, except without all of the backwards messages you hear when you're high.

I'm not worried about Osama, I believe he's in Saudi Arabia in the bosom of his family and has been for years, enjoying the best healthcare that oil money can buy.
