Quote of the Day - "I'll send my sons if he sends his daughters."
"I'll send my sons if he sends his daughters. Put those two drunk bitches on a plane and let them go fight. At least I know my sons would be getting some on the way."

-- Comedian Damon Wayans, quoted by the New York Daily News, on the conditions for President Bush to send his sons to fight in Iraq.

8. On a serious note
Presidents used to lead the forces into battle themselves, much less sending their kids. What happened to that tradition? At the very least it would lead to more carefully considered wars.

10. Actually, they were generals when they led troops.
Washington, Eisenhower, Teddy, Grant, etc. were elected after they led troops into battle.

14. With that in mind
It's ironic that early in his first term, Chimpy did a stint trying to anchor his image to Teddy Roosevelt, the "Rough Rider" president who actually did lead soldiers in combat.

His entire term has been one manipulative mind-jerk after another.
