Evacuee family response to *'s "I take responsibility" statement

Evacuee Family on Federal Response

"Katrina exposed serious problems in our response capability at all levels of government, and to the extent the federal government didn't do its job right, I take full responsibility," he said.

Is that admission any consolation for the victims? Some say no. We spoke with one New Orleans family. They lost everything to Katrina and are now staying in Thunderbolt.

The Jones family says, although admitting there was a problem is a good sign, it doesn't make up for the hundreds of lives lost and the thousands of lives destroyed.

"What do I think about him saying that?" asked evacuee Sharonda Jones. "Not much."

President Bush admits mistakes were made, but families like the Joneses say that's just not enough.

4. look the idiot son did not say it with any compassion or sincerity
it was so obvious that he was being made to say it and he had contempt saying it...sure if you only heard it or read it ..without seeing him deliver it..you could say ..he is remorseful...but if you
< saw him say it > you know it was nothing but bullshit!
and we need to get the tape of him slouching and turning his body out to everyone...
he had the compassion of a dead gnat!
furthermore..he doesn't give a rats ass what the victims feel or their opinion...he got them outta there..thats all he cares about..by his neglect he got them out of very valuable land...

don't believe me..wait till the casinos go up!

5. I heard him say it on the radio and he sure as hell didn't sound sincere
AFAIAC. He obviously HATED saying those words. Somebody marched him out there and said he HAD to say it.
