Recent reports are revealing that the Gretna police & sheriffs departments closed off the bridge refusing people attempting to flee New Orleans when there was no food or water, at one point shooting warning shots over their heads.
http://www.washtimes.com/upi/20050908-112433-4907r.htmLast week, after major evacuations were happening and federal assistance arrived in NO, there was a report of 5 people being shot on a bridge.
The reports coming out were very suspicious simply because the official story changed at least three times within a day.
The first report was that 5 contractors had been shot by local police as they were crossing a bridge to work on the levy.
The second report was that 5 contractors had shot by "a gang of armed thugs".
The third and official story was that contractors who were crossing the bridge to work on the levy were shot at by an unknown source. They called the police, the police came and shot 5 "gunmen".
Here is one source as the story was morphing:

The story of what happened the day on the bridge when 5 people were shot and killed seemed off as myself and others watched it change. Has anyone found out anymore about the 5 dead that is different from the official story? If it is the same bridge, does the actions of the Gretna PD give cause for more questions about the shooting death of the 5 people?
