If Gray Davis somehow defeats the recall, can someone start this

Yes, until the law is changed. I lived in San Diego for 18 years and took a college course on current events and politics. The instructor was a political junkie and sometime operative and said that given enough money he could get anything through the proposition, referendum process. There're always enough disgruntled out there to qualify even the most ludicrous prop. The first thing the legislature will do is change the law if Davis is kept. The first thing Democrats MUST do is to start a recall effort if Hitler-lite wins.

4. It certainly seems like a foolish law.If recalling mostly depends

on money and signutures.It would seem to me part of campaigning,would be to be prepared to recall.For a contingency plan,in any close election.The way the law currently is,there is no provison to stop this.Hell,theoreticly you could keep having elections till you got the result you want,as long as you could afford it.
