11. He basically said he was a pacifist but voted for the war
because he trusted the administration. He spoke about a meeting that 13 congresspeople attended 2 days before the vote where Rumsfield spoke and showed "evidence" of Iraq's Nuclear Program. He spoke of questioning Rumsfield and Rummy's insistance that the picture of the Nuclear Plant, fully operational, a "recent" picture. Rumsfield stating that it was recent with a high degree of accuracy.
Ackerman was furious and said he was lied to.

(Try to get a copy of it, my paraphrasing does not do it justice)

Also . . . when about 2 dozen Kansas Conservatives come to Nichols' Fountain on the KC Country Club Plaza to demonstrate that they have QUESTIONS about 9/11.

It happened last Sunday; I have an audio recording of their leader.

94. Ros-lehtinen has revealed some shocking insider information.
First, she admits that she keeps 1,000,000 in her campaign account and that number scares off likely opponents. In addition, she says that there are agreements struck between Florida Dems and Florida Republicans to stay away from each other's territories so that each candidate can be sure they don't spend money fighting challenges. That's why Floridians sometimes are not able to vote out anybody bad for years at a time.

56. Yeah, it pretty much is.
"To put it bluntly, if Bush has taken Congress and the nation into war based on bogus information, he is cooked. Manipulation or deliberate misuse of national security intelligence data, if proven, could be "a high crime" under the Constitution's impeachment clause. It would also be a violation of federal criminal law, including the broad federal anti-conspiracy statute, which renders it a felony "to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose.""

used false intelligence to affect public policy. Irony...

The proof is "what did he know and when did he know it". Have to prove intent. The tripwire is that after getting the facts, did he continue to use the same intel. :freak:

The largest chunk of the intel budget belongs to the DOD. Paging the special prosecutor...
