5. The Economist is far and away my favorite mag.
They seem to be far ahead of the curve on most issues and situations. It is indeed a conservative mag, but it is also realistic and went for Kerry in the last election

7. yep - I like the Economist too. Though I have not been reading it
much if at all in the last decade - it was my favorite mag for a long time.
