1. I got through
the receptionist was very nice.
I asked her if he had changed his mind regarding this case...she said as far as she knew he had not changed his mind, but was still considering it.
I told her that as a tax paying, voting, Texas business owner, I objected to the state sanctioned killing of an innocent woman.
I asked for reprieve.
She said she would note my message and deliver it to him.

3. I don't think you have to say where you are from
Edited on Wed Sep-14-05 03:46 PM by Horse with no Name
They didn't ask me...I think a huge public response would be beneficial.
As far as that goes, you can be misleading and say you are a voting and tax paying citizen...you just don't have to share that you aren't from Texas.;)

9. Just called at 3:52 pm. Receptionist was busy, placed me on hold
for 30 seconds, and took my call requesting the stay for Frances Newton in the interest of truth and justice. She was cheerful and said she'd note it and pass it along and she thanked me.

18. May Frances Newton abide in the house of the lord forever
As cruel as her death was, we can be assured that she is abiding in the presence of All Mighty God. May her family be able to forgive and have peace. We all should never forget what happened this night. May we all know God's everlasting love.
