Goes without saying it will never (officially) reach the 3,000 toll from Bush's "shining momnent" on 9/11. Er...9/14.

I suspect Katrina will have a far higher death toll. (For now. If George WMD Bush "stays the course" the number of dead in Iraq will increase.)

Yes it is. But have you noticed that every repub and most journalists always say the greatest "natural disaster"? Other than the civil war, I don't think that anything compares to the devastation of Katrina. It would take away from their 911, 911, 911, 911 meme if people were to view it that way.
