Okay, first of all, this is a fucking TIN FOIL HAT THEORY I just made up. Just thought of. No basis in fact, just an idea. Please read that statement again, and then again, before you respond. Yesterday I posted such a tin-foil post, labeled clearly as just my own crazy idea, and the flames and vitriol was amazing. The number of people who seemed to think that I was seriously stating Bush would resign tomorrow was just stunning. Like the entire IQ of DU dropped 50% upon reading it. So there. We haven't heard new poll numbers on Bush in weeks. They just stopped releasing them, they were so bad. Bad news, bad polls. But now, suddenly, new polls every day. I can see why, but then explain why no polling came out in the weeks before Katrina? So here we go...

We're seeing faked disapproval numbers today so Bush's speech can miraculously make them go back up tomorrow, demonstrating America's love for him, and their forgiveness of him.

7. I live near Indian Point Nuke Plant in NY. Sirens started to howl a little

while ago, and I was tremendously relieved when listening closer that the sirens were coming from our volunteer fire dept. So my danger antennae are really pricking up here, and so is one of my sons who heard and asked me about it too.

Once you've seen over $3 two-fifty starts looking pretty good. If they faked numbers in the 30's and then can show a bump back to 40% the Ass-Wipe-In-Chief will claim rising numbers and full support around the nation. No tin foil involved .....

The nonsense we see now and again about the government blowing up the levees, etc. is just plain fucking nuts, but this is certainly possible, easily done, and quite Rovian in nature.
