6. You're welcome. I'd almost forgotten about it myself, but Nagin was late
according to what I heard when I switched over to LKL, had just shown up then.

15. I HOPE that repopulation plan will include

As MANY as the black NOLA folk as possible.

This rebuilding is an amazing opportunity, IF it's treated accordingly AND in good faith. They have about 100,000 VERY low income folks that's been...kidnapped almost and scattered all over the place. I'd like to see Baton Rouge start a job training initiative and train some of these black people in all sorts of manual skills and thus give them a job.

Will it happen? I'm not sure, because the Bush bastard's in heat over getting his greasy little monkey paws on the Crescent City for his fellow shitkickers.

4. Says he won't count on the cavalry coming within 3 days, after this.
He's going to buy high-water vehicles, helicopters, etc., and not count on the feds.

11. Says he wants to continue being mayor (admits even his wife asked him
about that), and does a lovely riff on the wonders of New Orleans, wanting to see those restored.

and they simply didn't have that many.

Editing to fix a typo, and to add that Nagin said the school buses photographed in floodwater had been parked in an area that usually stays dry during floods.

14. Good interview.
I wish people would quit calling him a sellout because he's not ranting and raving against Bush. I think he made his point quite clear 2 weeks ago in that radio interview.
