John Malkovich threatened to shoot Galloway and Robert Fisk???
"In May 2002, at the Cambridge Union, American actor John Malkovich stated that he would like to shoot both George Galloway and the journalist Robert Fisk. On being told of this, Galloway responded "if it was a joke it is not very funny and if it wasn't a joke, he will be hearing from my lawyers".

It seemed pretty even-handed to me. One of the few sources on the Mariam Appeal that includes the conclusion that there was no wrongdoing whatsoever.

6. Yeah it happened
tho IIRC it wasn't quite the random outburst that it was represented as. Malkovich was asked who he'd most like to fight to the death (or something equally assinine) & he replied Galloway & Fisk, adding that he'd rather just shoot them.

Fisk wrote an article about it and the hate mail he receives:
