Shummer was wonderful yesterday !

About the most entertaining time in this dog and pony show of these proceeding was Senator Shummers ? of bushes nominee for Cheif Justice, at some points he had my wife and I laughing so hard as he basically told the nominee straight out how his non-answers to the ?'s being asked was not fair to the American people ,he did the grilling in a way that would make any Dem proud that Shummer is on our side and the nominee looked like a deer caught in the headligts foresure ! I still laugh when I recall himm saying how if someone asked him what kind of movies he liked he would say good movies, yet refuse to name one !
Shummer showed he has a much higher intelect then this guy can even come close to ! Any comments ?

2. Was Shumer the one who pointed out

that the confirmation hearings were the ONLY time in a judge's life he isn't giving opinions, but also the time where opinions are most needed? If not, who was that?

He pointed out that Judges are always stating their opinions and how the nominee has done so in the past many times ,yet now when it was the most important and the only chance the American people get to hear from him B/4 he is ratified ,he is refusing to answer or state his opinions directly ,and instead walking around every single ? ,time and time again, asked of him !
