Two bills introduced by Sen. Kerry on 9/14/05
Damn, am I ever impressed. This is wonderful stuff.

Vaccines for the New Millennium Act of 2005
63. S.1698 : A bill to accelerate efforts to develop vaccines for diseases primarily affecting developing countries and for other purposes.
Sponsor: Sen Kerry, John F. (introduced 9/14/2005) Cosponsors (1) (Sen. Lugar)
Committees: Senate Finance
Latest Major Action: 9/14/2005 Referred to Senate committee. Status: Read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance.

68. S.1703 : A bill to provide for the development and implementation of an emergency backup communications system.
Sponsor: Sen Kerry, John F. (introduced 9/14/2005) Cosponsors (None)
Committees: Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs
Latest Major Action: 9/14/2005 Referred to Senate committee. Status: Read twice and referred to the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.

This info came from the US Sente site, under the section called 'bills introduced. I then did a simple text search for 'Kerry.'

Or use the Thomas site and look for Bills introduced

http://thomas.loc.gov/">US Senate Bills

Please forgive a bit of regional pride, but hot damn, I'm so glad he's my Senator. I am wicked, wicked proud. This is great stuff.

2. Humbly, so does Illinois.
I am smitten with Sen. Durbin. (And with Sen. Obama.) And Maryland has two good ones and so on, and so on, and so on. (I am trying to be diplomatic here.)

But I was really, really impressed with Kerry's stuff this week. This is like the 5th bill he's introduced this week and they have been dead-on. I am genuinely, no-shit really, impressed. Nice work.

3. What baffles me, is that Kerry continues to have more insight into
what this country, and world, needs. It is almost as if he has continued to do everything he said he would. He keeps introducing legislation that is badly needed. He has been to Iraq 2x this year.
He has called this administration out on all of their screw-ups.
He has been relentless, and what is baffling, is the only way I would know this, is by reading DU.

Kerry should be on the front page, or at least in the front section of the papers. He should be on all of the news shows. The man deserves to be Prez, and he is a constant reminder of just how weak the * administration really is.

Thanks for the post Tay Tay!

5. He's been pushing what he promised in the campaign - Offering a shadow
government Too bad the press pretty much ignores it in their undisguised press for a McCain-Clinton race.

18. Maybe it's best they ignore him, as long as we get the word out to
the people who need to hear him.

I want Kerry to remain under the radar until it's time for the full, and I mean complete, takedown. I don't want to see any piece, any cancerous cell, of the bfee ever in power again.
And I don't want them in the media either, they make me sick. I want them back in their cracks, preferably in prison.

Look at how the bushcult is imploding. It looks to me that they are now facing the same type of blitzkreig that they use to attack us.

On every front they are no longer able to pass, they have to stop and explain. For once Karl is not leading the plays, he is on defense.

You know, for awhile there I lost my faith a bit. I figured this would all happen early summer and when it didn't I thought maybe my instincts were wrong and it wasn't going to happen at all.

I would also love to see as many state attorneys as possible start independent investigations for bfee rico. The fema response in LA, MS, AL could be a beautifully ironic place to start. I love that Dean is pushing for competent people with integrity to run as state attorneys.

12. It was sooo funny. It was fairly early in the campaign when
he must've just figured out what he was up against.
He thought the mic was off. He was talking to his crew.
The media tried to use it against him, for calling the prez an asshole.

Definetly was a highlight.

16. It was crooks and liars. He said, "This is the biggest bunch of crooks and
liars" very low to some men standing around him. He thought his mic was off and he was off camera, so we know he wasn't just trying to give us lip service. Loved it and wanted more of it!

13. Mr. Kerry what have you done to ensure a legal vote for americans?
As 2006 approaches, will we experience another Ohio/Florida election fraud debacle?

With Bush's numbers tanking the Repugs will be even more desperate to ensure a favorable outcome, but how will we ever know when the vote cannot be certified...?

22. That sucks.
The SBA amendment (Snowe/Kerry) is going to pass. It's a good bill. It will actually help some folks to recover from what the storm did to their means of making a living. Sigh! Considering that the SBA Sept 11th loan process is coming under scrutiny for a severe case of :wtf: is going on here, I think the Rethugs thought they would just vote for the SBA bill and maybe deflect some heat. (Cuz They couldn't possibly give a crap about SB. It's not in their nature.)

We need a higher minimum wage. Sen. Kennedy has proposed this in each Congress and the REthugs shut him down. Sigh!

23. Hey John ?
How about a resolution to cut Diebold out of the election process ???????

WTF Bradblog.com now has an insider that works with Diebold basically telling Americans that the election process in our country is FUCKED.

Until he gets to the meat of the matters of this country , I can`t support him.

Flu vaccines are definitely needed but can`t he pass these things on to others Senators to handle. Then he could attack the real reasons why he is not the President right now.
