Sen. Hillary Clinton proposed the investigation but it was shot down along strict party lines. All 54 votes against it were Republican votes.

I realize they are trying to protect their leader, but when the questions are never answered, the people assume the worst! Little stories will continue to leak out, every day! Yesterday, I heard that it was really Chertoff who stalled the Fed response to Katrina because he didn't know HE had the authority to activate the 82nd airborne, and other assets he had at his disposal.

If each one of these accusations are not proven or disproven, the public will assume what they hear is true!

And give them hell. They don't know when you call them wether you are a Democrat or Republican. What they should do is make those bastards suffer by doing to them what they have been doing to Dems and to the country for all these years.There should be investigations out the ass,and they should be told NO at everything they suggest or want to do.They should be ridiculed and slimed at every opportunity,and shut out of "bi-partisan" meetings....let them get a taste of their own medicine and see how it feels.
