That Bush would hold himself accountable for anything the Fed's did wrong... knowing the Repugs wouldn't let an investigation happen in the first place.

1. How the WH used the intelligence as faulty as it was that were the basis for going to war in Iraq? NO
2. The outing of a CIA agent by people in the WH? NO
3. The cost of the Medicare prescription drug bill? NO

We had more hearings, when the republicans were in charge and there was a democratic administration, on whether Clinton misused his christmas card list for political purposes. That merited 7 or 8 days of hearings, but we can't get hearings on these important subjects.

We have no confidence whatsoever, that we are going to get the facts on what went wrong with Katrina.
