as a sign of our compassion to conservatives we should also introduce legislation that would legalize incest and spousal abuse and let them run with it. Also, as a convenience for conservatives who have never served in the military yet wave the flag and support the troops, we should do away with educational requirements and basic skills to serve in uniform.

Amen and Amen to that !!! Actually what has happened is the Corporation has shifted the tax burden off onto the individual over the last 30 years or so. So actually it just needs shifted back to the corporation and the wage scale raised to keep pace with the cost of living. I saw a number the other day that said if wages had kept pace with company officers salaries the minimum wage would 23.03 an hour.
