Our live chat this afternoon with Rep. John Conyers

Hey guys, I figured the DU community would be greatly interested in checking out the chat we’re hosting this afternoon- we’ll be taking questions and discussing the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina with two experts on the issue- John McQuain, Times-Picayune reporter and co-author of several reports written years prior to Katrina detailing the dangers facing the Gulf Region, and Congressman John Conyers, who recently introduced several bills and inquiries relating to aiding Katrina victims and challenging the Bush administration’s response to the devastation. Conyers introduced the bill exempting victims from the bankruptcy bill, which the GOP-led house now states they will not take up... I’m sure he’ll be discussing that at some point.
