5 More Illinois Pharmacies Sue Governor For Right To Deny Birth Control
http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-metro15.html

Four pharmacy owners sued Gov. Blagojevich on Wednesday over a rule that requires Illinois pharmacies to fill prescriptions for emergency contraception. snip

Americans United for Life, a public interest law firm, said it filed the lawsuit in Sangamon County on behalf of the pharmacy owners. Luke Vander Bleek of Morrison and his wife own two Whiteside County pharmacies and co-own two more in DeKalb County with plaintiff Tom O'Shea. Plaintiff Glenn Kosirog owns a pharmacy in northern Cook County.

2. Y'know, there's a reason I didn't become a butcher.
It's very simple; if a job has inherent within it something you oppose, you shouldn't be working that capacity.

TA-DAA! Solved.

6. It's a very simple concept ...
... I can't help but wonder why, during all the years of schooling, it never occurred to them they were entering into an occupation to which they were morally opposed?

3. Hey Pharmacists: Being a "grown-up" means doing things you don't like
once in a while for the greater good of the community. Try to handle it.

4. Didn't we settle this 40 years ago?
You have to serve black people that come into your diner.
You have to fill the legal prescription of any patient who walks into your pharmacy.
If you're open for business you have to treat all people equally.

:grr:Asshats:grr:

8. Perhaps they should open a pharmacy in an existing theocratic nation
Then they won't have to worry about we pesky women who insist on being given equal access to medical care
