So what are the consequences of responsibility?
Since our beloved President *spit* so honorably assumed responsibility for the first time in his career (or life if you chose), I wonder if there will be any consequences.

You see, in real life, people RESPONSIBLE for major screw-ups get fired, sued or covered in tar and feathers.

Unless President Bush *spit* has a REALLY big surprise planned in his speech tonight (Drinking game: down a bottle of your favorite poison and run naked through your neighborhood singing the Star Spangled Banner), I am guessing that this newfound responsibility will not have a lot of substance.

It will be interesting to watch this empty responsibility syndrome (ERS) spread through the corporate world, the school system and the rest of the country.

1. You are right about the ERS syndrome
Cons constantly cried about the moral implications of the Clinton Scandal. I for one believe the Buschco example of Morality is so much worse than Clintons not even funny

3. One of Bush's running points in 1999...
...was to bring "integrity" back to the White House.

Unfortunately our collective memory fails to remember that any time this Administration commits another unethical act.
