I used to say it in class, but I always thought it was a goofy. I mean, even in kindergarten I thought it was retarded. I've questioned authority since the day I was born. Some of us are just meant to be Americans :D Others, unfortunately are meant to be mindless automaton morons susceptible to fascism.

10. I am a teacher and I allow my students the freedom of choice...

when it comes to reciting the pledge. If they choose not to recite the pledge, then be quiet and respectful of those who do. And, to those who do, be respectful to those who choose otherwise.

I believe that if one is required to recite the pledge then it looses all meaning. It must be one's choice one way or the other. If one is required to recite it, then it seems totalitarian to me.
