The group will bring 15 pumps, of which 10 can pump 15,000 liters – about 4,000 gallons – per minute, said Hans-Georg Hartmann, a THW spokesman. On Wednesday, U.S. Air Force airmen at Ramstein helped load the equipment onto the cargo planes, using forklifts to transport the gear from THW trucks to the plane.

I think we're going to see failure after failure of the levee system if they don't get on top of it immediately. With the bush clowns in charge, I think the announcement of the rebirth of New Orleans is a little premature.

the THW know what they are doing. Germany, and the Netherlands for that matter, have top notch technology that would have prevented this disaster from happening in the first place. They really are that good. It has nothing to do with Bush, but he will exploit them for his own purposes, just as he does everyone and everything else.
