Which of those factors describe Bush?

Clinton could do it, for one, because he cared. he also was smart enough to do it so it meant something. Swaggart could do it because of his experience in selling used cars. One guy who has had a lot of practice is Chicago's mayor. Lots of crow to eat with all the indictments coming down on his staff.

But bush? No way.

I suspect he will be smug, crowing about how well things are going now, happy about how well his people are doing. I bet he won't even mention Rover. He will mention faith, religion, democracy, freedom, iraq, and every code word his puppetmasters can think of to connect with his baser instincts and baser supporters.
