Repuk Pals Are Fully Awake Now!
A friend forwarded the below links to me earlier today. There is a mass awakening in my state now - finally.

This email group is growing by the day on my friends e-list. People are really coming alive with fear and are fed-up. While they know I'm a bleeding "liberal," and a "proud" one at that, these people are from every imaginable walk of life. Not all are democrats, some are Republicans, Independents, Green Party, you name it, and some are of no affiliation at all, rather vote according to issues, yet they've awakened and have the same sense of urgency and fears.

Honestly, they're sending me more emails then ever before. Never seen anything like it, and even their moms, and granny's are P.O. and awake!

In reality, they have more disdain for * & Co then even us Dem's. I'm hearing statements that tell me they're in major fear of MIHOP by Ch#n&y, and call * the terrorist. It's incredible.

We are not as divided as one would assume. Not by a long-shot.

My friend,

"Just like 911 the powers that be are using the hurricane disaster to seize even more power as well as to acclimate the American people to the idea of accepting aid from mercenaries and foreign troops! Below are links to 5 short articles worth reading!"

Border State Governors Declare State of Emergency http://www.americanfreepress.net/html/state_of_emergency.html

WAKE-UP AMERICA!!!

Signed,
My friend.

And you should hear local Repuks at the local clubs, etc. Bumper-stickers for *, and flags hanging from side car windows have dwindled to a all new low.

Oh yeah... they're fully awake BUT waiting for DEMOCRATS to do something "and" they're all saying they'll vote for any Dem just to get the crooks out.

We're not alone, not by a long shot. Look at the true polls. What does that tell you?

Strange stuff going on here. Good? Bad? But, it's got granny's going. I've now learned that you can't judge a book by it's cover. Thought my state was turning RED.

I've believed all along that the country would eventually unite AGAINST Nero and his Gang of Thugs. I am so hoping for sooner than later, before we have a man-made catastrophe of UNIMAGINABLE death and destruction.

13. We're not! Let me Repeat: WE ARE NOT AS DIVIDED AS
What we've been "LED" to believe. Think about it. It's all part of the fear-scam.

DIVIDE, then Conquer, right! No. Don't have the link handy, but, remember this as it's true: Though there are less Dem's in Congress, they still represent "more" Democrats than the other side.

That's why they had to steal their way in.

Shew, they don't unwind! And they have the WH on their cell-phone memory and those emails ready. I was in shock when they told me they receive more letters then me from our Senators. But, they go further - they call, write and email out-of-state REpuks, big-time.

They're into calling into FReepers radio stations, and seem as knowledgeable as DU. Can't make this stuff up, and wouldn't anyway.

Just hope KKKRove sees this.

Here's betting *'s rating are lower then 38%!

Edited to Add: When they call-in to those FReeper stations, they argue their facts, not a part of it. They are very awake, and angry.

17. me, too!
There was a copy of the local paper in the conference room @ work w/a pic of Bush on the front page. I wrote FOOL on Bush's forehead just to send a message to all the Repugs in the office.
Later in the day, I had a conversation at work w/a die-hard Repug about the state of the nation & he did not utter a solitary word in defense of Bush. I was completely shocked! We discussed a variety of topics & were in agreement on virtually every issue. I can't being to tell you what that means in red state Oklahoma.

Two of my family members who voted for Bush twice (we nearly didn't speak again after the last election) now think he should be impeached. And that was BEFORE the hurricane!! I think the lies about WMD did it for them ~

So, what can be done with all this dissension? The media is still propping him up ~ and he's still looting the treasury and handing out contracts to his crooked friends, profiting off the tragedy of NO. How come he's allowed to make ANY decisions about ANYTHING?

I don't get it. The whole world hates him and his criminal administration and now most Americans feel the same way. So why isn't the media reflecting that? Why aren't the showing him strumming the guitar 24/7 while his fellow citizens died, old people, children and the disabled?

If this disaster doesn't finish him off, I give up.

14. Note how "they" use many of the "same" sites, we do.
They read the Crisis paper, the Plaid Adder, etc. They visit truthout.org and buzzflash, and many more.

Think of what happened. It was the links from 1 page to another, and before long they're up all night long reading... they gather together on the phone now in 3-way conversations, and call me as well.

They're more excited then I, that they found me. Astounding.

It gives me some hope and wanted to share this w/my fellow DU'ers.

33. START Talking to People at the Gas Pump...
Grocery Shopping, you know, make a comment like "Man, or Shew, our country is a mess." "Have you ever seen anything like it?"

Betcha 9 out of 10 will agree and then they boat-load on you. I've never seen anything like it "because" after Nov 2004, I felt shamed, afraid to say I was a Democrat in my blue state.

Not any more. I'm feeling "it."

It's better then feeling creeped out, and without hope. Would never post this if I didn't know, didn't feel it. If these people are awake, it's got to be in other areas. Obviously, certain demographic areas will never be a Dem, but 34 percent of those that are not is an average of the decades if you do your homework.

42. "It's the Economy, Stupid" Even FReeps Can Agree W/Us On That One
Everyone is complaining, from the pumps to the grocery stories. We do have those common things in common - it's called economics.

Remember. We can't all agree on everything, and while I agree that FReepers are way past reasonable, and in my viewpoint far from the "real mainstream," and I find some of them far from even trying to deal with, again, I'd say 35% of those that actually "vote," are not what I'd call a "majority."

Not by a long-shot. No. Way.

We need to stop beliving "everything" we hear, too. It's not our fault though... sadly.

36. In my former area in Waukesha, WI(very right wing) they were dwindling
Even my best friend there, who is as right wing as they come, was saying, "We have no business telling other countries what to do.". They still hate liberals, but its a start. That means that moderates may be peeling away from their clutches if a hardcore right-winger like that can start to criticize.
